These garnets are lustrous and fiery, far more so than it is possible to capture in a photo. 
Three gorgeous vitreous pearshaped garnets, arranged together in a gorgeous trefoil design, and set in a closed back cut down setting. 
This is actually a little later than the Georgian ones which are so very rare, but is still well over 150 years old, circa 1850.
