A lovely old mine cut diamond - these have a charecter which you just don't get with modern diamonds. 
We have salvaged this from a much loved and very worn out ring setting.
We have reset it using traditional techniques, in handmade cut down setting crafted in 18ct gold and sterling silver, with a generous jump ring. We have opted for an open back, making this easy to wear day in, day out, and cleaning will be a breeze.
