Isn't this just lovely? It's has a little bit of a history, but still far too beautiful to pass by. 
Sold to me as a stick pin, and described as sapphires and diamonds. I had an idea that maybe the stones were paste, but I bought it anyway, as it was just too pretty and well made to pass up. 
A little bit of testing, and I found that 2 of the sapphires have been replaced with synthetic spinels at some point. 
It's a beautifully made little piece, and I have priced it well to find it a home.
Tests as 9ct gold (yellow in colour)

Diamonds tested as natural, earth mined diamonds 
Total drop approx 20mm
Width approx 12mm 
Very good vintage condition  - one stone slightly scuffed
